London Office Furniture General Terms and Conditions of Trade
These General Terms and Conditions of Trade hereafter known as ‘Terms’ shall form part of any order or contract ‘order’ between any customer ‘the Customer’ and London Office Furniture for the supply of goods and/or services ‘goods’. It shall be deemed that The Customer is aware of these Terms and purchases subject to them, whether the Customer has actually seen them or not. In the event of any conflict with the Customer's own Terms, London Office Furniture's Terms will prevail, except as otherwise stated.
All quoted prices are subject VAT at the current rate.
They include standard packing materials and delivery, unless stated otherwise. Packing materials are non-returnable.
London Office Furniture shall not be liable for any losses, consequential or otherwise due to an inability to meet delivery dates. Those dates having being given as an indication only. All goods shall be London Office Furniture's responsibility until delivered to the Customer. Following delivery, all responsibility shall be passed to the Customer. Upon delivery and installation, all goods should be checked by the customer promptly. Should the order be short delivered or damaged, London Office Furniture must be notified within forty eight hours of delivery. London Office Furniture will not accept the return of any goods supplied against a Customer's order without prior agreement having been sought and given in writing. Any return accepted by London Office Furniture will be subject to a charge of 30% of the full retail price plus VAT at the current rate. London Office Furniture accepts no liability for any economic and/or consequential loss under this order, howsoever arising.
Installation of the ordered goods shall be arranged by London Office Furniture at no extra charge to the Customer, with no additional discounts being offered for delivery only. It will be effected by London Office Furniture's contractors, into an area fully prepared by the Customer, and will include the assembly and placement of all goods to the satisfaction of the Customer. All packing materials and cases shall be removed from site upon completion. London Office Furniture shall not be responsible for the removal of any of the Customer's unwanted goods, or for any additional services such as the reconfiguration of existing furniture, plumbing or electrical wiring. Should these services be required, a price must be sought and payment made with order
Terms of Payment
All payments are due in full (plus VAT at the current rate) upon ordering.
Special Terms & Conditions for Next Day
Please assume deliveries will be made by an articulated vehicle and advise us of any access issues when ordering otherwise re-delivery charges may apply. Whilst every effort is made to ensure that we meet detailed delivery terms, there may be instances beyond our control which may affect this. Any discrepancies/damages must be notified in writing (including email) within 24 hours of receipt. All consignments which are received damaged must be clearly marked 'damaged' on the driver's paperwork or order refused. Delivery is to kerbside only.
